It's Chucklefish. Co-op is NEVER coming out. Seriously, ♥♥♥♥ Chucklefish. They are the actual worst.

Thankfully there's a mod that makes it so co-op is a thing. Makeshift Multiplayer. Google that ♥♥♥♥ and enjoy.

I'm going to guess Khaos hasn't really looked into it, but last time I looked Stardew Valley is being worked on by a single person named ConcernedApe. Chucklefish is just the publisher.

You sir, are the one that hasn't looked in to it. CA has stated he's not involved with multiplayer coding at all. Chucklefish has taken on that role. CA only does single player content.

Then it would seem that I am mistaken, and I apologise for my lack of information. I was under the assumption that CA was working on the game in its entirety with Chucklefish just helping out with getting the game published and out there.

Nearly every recent blog post mentions multiplayer, as well as the blog posts detailing CA's decision to delay multiplayer until after release.

I'm guessing that multiplayer will either be two player max (Host and visitor) or like Harvest Moon and have 4 players max ( Host plus three visitors). Either way I'm hopeful it will come out, I am also REALLY hoping trading will be a thing too

All I see on video comments is how people will buy it when it gets MP. You'd think they'd actually prioritize something like that considering how much it'd increase the playerbase.
