'lost' my golden watering can

I am not sure what happened. I think it is because i placed it in a chest outside my farmhouse before going to sleep. The next day, woke up as if i lost it.

Does it happen to any one else? sort of screwed myself into a corner with my large field and starting back at lvl 0 watering can

Sometimes I log in or wake up and my items we re-arranged. A few times, some tools are gone too. I just check all my chests and find it.

I can't say what causes it, since we're often looking in and dropping things off in the chests, so that's not a good description of "when" it happens. Just know that it's usually somehow in your chests, so check them all.

But you're talking about your gold can the reverted back to a regular can. In that case, I haven't experienced it.

If that lvl 0 can turned up in the mail I'm guessing you lost all your health while mining. Random items can be lost and will be returned minus the upgrade/s.

I never lost all my health in the mines. I have a chest outside the farm house full of seeds, i usually place my tools in the chests inside the house. On that day, i decided to leave my gold watering can on the seed chest and went to bed.

Woke up the next day with the animation of picking of the tier 1 watering can and the mail of lewis dropping the item i "lost"

So I am wondering if it is a bug, or is it s feature where you lose tools placed outside the farmhouse.

Leaving stuff in chests outside doesn't do that - that's why I assumed what happened must be from a death in the mines.

So it's obviously a bug if you didn't die in the mines.

Upgraded watering cans are a viable option - you can water a lot of crops, fast.
