Do I need to keep watering cranberries once they reach their last stage?
I am on fall of year 2 and decided to go for a half pumpkin half cranberry crop. However, i do not use sprinklers so it takes a while to water everything (aproximately 202 crops every day). So i was wondering if i had to water my cranberries once they reach the final growing stage where they start producing.

Do you mean, do you have to water them after harvest?

i guess so?

Like, once you get the first cranberry harvest, do i have to water them so that they will keep producing?

Why would you not use sprinklers? Do you like getting carpal tunnel syndrome or something?

Not everyone can immediately get the materials, i had to wait until winter to get full sprinkers and i still have to water some of my crops

I just don't grow as many crops as OP did until I have sprinklers. Too much work and not enough time to accomplish other things, but everyone has their own play style.

Once you get all 4 candles light on Grandpa's shrine you get a Statue of Perfection which gives you 2-8 iridium ores each day. By then you should have plenty of gold from going deep enough into the mines. Be patient and plan well!

Also if you have access to the sewers Krobus sells an irridium sprinkler every friday. I bought every one I could, in between getting the materials to make them myself.

Iridium Sprinklers are mostly overrated, except in Greenhouse. I've got like 150 of the Quality Sprinklers. At the start of Year 2. Go hard in the Mines if you want to grow your farm.

It's more beneficial to just fill the land. By that point you've got so many crops you're not going to sweat the lost spaces due to only having midgrade sprinklers. In the super late-game, okay, start working Iridium Sprinklers in. But before that, just get maximum crops. Really successful runs in the Skull Cavern are just too resource and time intensive, you come away empty handed too often without luck or stones for stairways. But Quality Sprinklers? You can put together 10 of them in a couple days, easy.

I don't recall there being a lower level of Clock you can settle for, if you want that kind of thing.

I'm just saying, the farms offer a lot of land to work with and filling it is more important than doing it with the minimum number of sprinklers to maximize space. Like you do with the Greenhouse, every space in there lost is a big deal.

wait how do you use normal sprinklers? I had one and it did nothing..
Justin Apr 29, 2017 @ 1:41pm
Normal sprinklers suck, they just water directly up, down, left, and right - not on diagonals. Don't use them. Use the second tier of sprinklers or Iridium Sprinklers.

Personally I upgraded my watering can to Iridium and that helped immensely compensate for lack of sprinklers.

Normal sprinklers suck, you'll want quality sprinklers, they water 4 spaces around, so basically, they water the tilled soil all around the outside of them.
