More than one Legend fish!

I've caught three now. I've fished at the ocean often enough where I can confirm I've never even sniffed another Crimsonfish, nor the Glacierfish at the spot it spawns. Anyone else see more of the others? Can confirm that you can catch as many Legend fish as you want. It's appeared to me 5 times, although I failed to catch it twice because it appeared right after my trap tackle ran out.

The Legend, for whatever reason, has always been like this. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but hopefully they let us re-catch the legendaries rather than nerfing the Legend. I've seen a few Fishing-based files that can't wait for Spring Y2 so they can catch the Legend for cash.

I think you all mistake me . How do I put up screenshots? I can show you. I have no mods, no anything. I have caught 3 legends, and I have encountered five.

Press F12 in-game to take a screenshot. When you close or minimize SV, Steam will bring up an uploader to save them to your profile / Steam account. After you've saved them, just go to the pic on your profile and copy/paste the link here.

Alternatively, you can press "Prt Scrn" to take a screenshot and then paste it into something like Paint, save it, and upload it to an image sharing site, typically Imgur, then post it here.

Yeap. There you go. Three of them, and the second and third were on a different day. That's my "grange" chest, where I keep the bestest things for display.

You can only catch each of the legendary fish once, except for the one named Legendary fish in the spring. That one you can catch over and over again. It's always been that way.

For whatever reason, only the Legend can be caught multiple times.

Why?

I've played the game for 5 in-game years and have only ever been able to catch a single Legend fish. All the others, the ones I caught at least, have been once as intended.

I got gold on all the legendaries except the Angler, for some reason. I sold two of those legends for like, I dunno, 20k each or something. It's crazy!

I've caught like three more since, on year four. I'm doing another farm now, but now the Rain Totem seems SO MUCH MORE VALUABLE. You can catch like 2-3 legends in a day if you're lucky. Just make sure to use trap tackle, it makes very difficult fish waaaaaaaaaay easier to catch. I mean, Legend is still hard, even with it. I catch about 3 of every 5.

I know how you feel, I'm still updating and modding my Skyrim & Bethesda games.... (on and off, I can quit anytime! Just after this one mod...)

A gold star Angler is impossible because of the way that Legendary Fish and the quality of fish work.

Legend as rechable fish probably so that you can earn money even in case you want have some income fishing only,
every skill has some fast/ capable way to earn money,
this was most probably meant that if you want to play only by doing that one thing, or hate some and leave it out, so you are not forced to do it,
of course ,still, most cost effective sole skill is farming, but hey you are on farm no?
