You should need any money for hay. Let your animals eat grass outside for free. Build a silo and use the scythe to cut back the grass from time to time to generate hay for free. If you manage the grass on your farm well enough you shouldn't need to buy any hay.

It's variable what cooking dishes are available at the Saloon. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see what's being sold that day. I have definitely seen Complete Breakfast there before. Salmon Dinner I'm pretty sure I've seen too. They are not available every day like coffee and pizza.
Indeed, eggs are a decent option, but Sashimi's better simply because it loses you less gold.
