Gawain's Marriage: Haley, Sam, Alex - Who should I marry? (Poll)

I'm looking to see what everyone thinks about who my farmer Gawain should marry. I'm split between Haley, Sam, and Alex. (Pls don't suggest other options. I'm marrying one of these three, period.)

^^ This is Gawain. He's a fisher!

Haley: Out of all the bachelorettes I feel like she has the most character development! We get lots of character development with the bachelors (Hello Shane and Sebby!!) but not alot with the bachelorettes. Yeah she's a bit of a class A Bee, but when you get to know her she's pretty cool.
xD I also feel like my salty and horny ol' fisher would be turned on by the blond bomb-shell.

Sam: I've been meaning to marry him for a long time! (With a guy) In this save in particular I've really wanted too. But I am still torn between him, Alex, and Haley. You get some pretty cool interactions with him and George if you marry and your a male farmer. I want to see that.
xD He's also pretty easy to woo so that helps. I'll be fishing alot so I definitely see me catching alot of trash and Joja Cola's. Easy free gifts for Sam!

Alex: He's another dude I've been wanting to marry (as a guy) for a long time! Since I considered Sam, I thought to consider Alex too. He also has some interesting interactions if you pursue him as a male farmer. Just like with Haley I feel like Gawain would be pretty attracted to Alex's muscles and jock-y-ness. But probably be really confused about it why he feels that way.

Haley continues persuing her dream, but both Sam and Alex kinda drop theirs, if that's something that affects your decision.

Since you mention the same-sex interactions being something you wish to see in particular, I'd go for Alex in this save.

Aah, yes. I noticed that. Alot of the marriage candidates just kinda... quit. They don't pursue their dreams and job anymore just sitting at home relying on the farmer for everything... freeloaders. >.>

Alex seems to be leading in the poll. One thing I'm concerned about tho with him, looking at his wiki page: His loves are really hard to get. And his Likes aren't rlly listed. I mean his loves are all cooked dishes (I cannot access those right off the bat with no kitchen!!) and one (Complete Breakfast) is even a compiled dish of three other dishes!! Any help for this?

Well, she continues persuing her dream in that her spouse area is a photography spot. More than most spouses, though XD

And gold/iridium quality liked gifts can work until you get the loved gifts. A loved gift gives 80 friendship points, a liked gift gives 45; gold gives 45+25% (56), and iridium gives 45+50% (68). Alex likes all universal likes, so all vegetables, flowers, and artisan goods (except oil and void mayonnaise), so gold quality parsnips/mayonnaise or iridium quality sweet peas/crocuses can help until you get the recipes :) Also, sometimes Gus or the travelling sales cart can sell complete breakfasts and salmon dinners.

He's one of the more relatable ones, he's willing to improve himself, he becomes sweet and he's cute.

The salmon Dinner is easy to get.
Amaranth and Salmon can both be found in fall, and Kale in spring.

As for the Complete Breakfast, don't bother.

If the Salmon Dinner isn't an option, just give him eggs.

I can probably do the Salmon Dinner up in the fall. But in the spring and other seasons when I've run out of fish and amaranth I guess I'll just give him eggs.
Until I get a coop tho I'll go with what @Katalia19 suggested.

I wouldn't bother with Sam... I'm running playthroughs to marry each candidate, he was my last (currently running a game with Haley, she turns out to be quite nice) But Sam... as someone put it to me "that's what you get for marrying Goku" Sam is kind of a bummer, rarely gives gifts (not that presents should be equated with love), but he's just... idk boring? as a husband... I have been meaning to go for Alex since my first game, actually, Alex was the one I was persuing until I saw Elliot (always going to be my first pick). So my vote, Haley is nice, but try out Alex. That makes 3 votes for him ;)

Oh man! I didn't know how unpopular Sam was of a character! And how popular Alex is!
I figured Sam would go over nicely with everyone. Seems I was wrong. xD He looks like an easy character to woo. Only need 75g or a fishing rod on your ponds (non-riverland) for an easy liked gift.

Alex is a bit more of a challenge. His loved gifts are impossible without a kitchen early on unless ur lucky at the cart/bar. Even then you gotta wait 'till fall for the easier of the two to get ingredients. Alot of his events HAVE to happen in summer as well. For his two-heart event (That I'm confident I'll get to view by the first summer) and his eight-heart (Which I think I may have to wait until year 2 for. On my own save I did get Shane up to eight hearts by mid-summer by that was with beer's (loved) twice a week. I only have liked gifts to work with.)

But yeah, Alex does have 3 votes now. And despite all of the above he is becoming really appealing.

Haha!! I was actually pursuing Elliot in my first game. (But I got frustrated trying to find him every day) Then I saw I had yet to meet Sebby... Walked into the dark basement of his and was smitten ever since. (Ironically he's also as hard to find as Elliot if not harder. He's always in his basement and hard to access before 2 hearts. But he is pretty consistent about when he goes out.) We currently have one son together: Julianne.
Sebby will always be my favourite bachelor. (Tho Shane's hitting close to that #1 spot too with the new update.)
