@devs How about texture packs? (Some mod support)

I've seen a lot of mods lately about changing everything from horse appearance to map layout and turning children into birds and would't it be awesome to have the game replace a file and back up the original? I know you could say that's lazy of mod users to ask for this but it would be prettycool.
adding an option to make custom farm layouts to use as presets would be neat too. even if it's just giving the game a open folder option with selecting the new layout should do the trick.

Not sure what it is your asking for exactly, if you want texture packs, wait for modders to make them, and the birds thing, that's not a mod, that's in the game and map layout, short of customizing your entire farm yourself, their are multiple different farm types, what kind of mod support are you talking about?

I'm talking about something that works sorta like the saves system but with farm layouts and custom textures. You open some part of the menu and you have the preset at the top, you know the default and you can add your custom things below.

Uh... Well... Kinda confused. But i don't think official stardew valley will have it anyways. You either have to wait for modders to do so or just hop into modding and do it yourself.

You'll have to wait for modders to make that, doubt the devs will add that when there's really not much reason to

I just figured the devs migth be more able to add this in some future update than the general public.

Just one guy made the game, but the publisher is working on multiplayer for it, but any updates to the game itself other than multiplayer are made by the developer, Concerned Ape.
