Infinite Money :D

So I just figured out how to get not really infinite money but enough that you dont even need to bother playing the game.

For windows 7 or below go to documents and go to the search bar
Windows 8 and up press the windows key and the "r" key
1.) type "%appdata%
2.) find the stardew valley folder
3.) go to saves
4.) Open the player you want to have the money in
5.) open the save game file (not the old one) in notepad
6.) press ctrl + f and search the document for "money"
7.) keep searching until you find where it shows your current balance. change this to whatever number you like
8.) repeat steps 6 & 7 for the player file
9.) open stardew valley and voila you have broken the game

Why bother playing? The purpose of the game is gone if you cheat. It's people like you that give the PCMR a bad name.

I agree it takes the fun but it will be useful for testing things.

I don't really see the point of doing this, but I don't think it hurts anything either. If the OP thinks it's fun to break his game right off the bat it only affects them. Maybe it would be an issue if there were leaderboards or something, but since that isn't the case what does it matter?

The way i see it is break the game in single player and play legit when they telease multiplayer. Everything is better with friends

or use a trainer, or cheat engine, or a dozen other ways to ruin the fun. : )

Although... On my third playthrough I might cheat just enough money to get the farm teleporter. I never got it legit before since I'm normally on year 3+ before I would start earning serious money. I play the game for fun, not for profit, so it takes me much longer.
