I do not have enough hay
I would like to know how I can get more hay other than buying it at Marnie's ranch, since I do not have enough and my animals need it.

you need to build a silo and then go cut grass on your farm. If you got none naturally you guy it from the general store and let it spread for a while before cutting it down with a scyth.

I have 2 silos built but I do not have hay, and I find it very expensive the price where marnie sells it, I wondered if there would be any way to get hay without the marnie ranch or the farm itself.

You have only two options:

1. Buy hay from Marnie
2. Grow grass on your farm. The animals will eat the grass during Spring, Summer, and Fall. Animals do not need hay during these months unless it is raining. Use the scythe occasionally to cut the grass back. Each use of the scythe on the grass has a 50% chance of adding hay to the silo. Grow enough grass to fill the silos before Winter. Be user to scythe all the grass on the last day of Fall to fill your silos.
I highly recommend making a fenced-in area for the animals and planting tons of grass in it. The animals will eat the grass and not the hay, so you won't even need hay unless its winter. I had the exact same problem and doing this solved it. Also, if possible you could sell an animal or two to lighten the load. I had 2 ducks so I sold one.

Thank you very much for the help :).

To stop animals eating all grass, place a lightning rod in their pen then plant a grass starter in the same tile as the rod, animals won't eat that grass tile, but grass will still spread from it stopping the need for more grass starters, I think this works with fences too.

Another good way of stocking up on hay, without having to build more silos than you want, is to keep a coop or barn below the deluxe level. This will allow you to remove Hay from it's hopper and empty out your silo-

You can chuck that hay into a chest and then harvest more to stockpile it over the course of the year. If you're running an animal-heavy farm, it's a good idea to keep up on your grass harvesting so you don't go broke in Winter trying to keep up.

Can't you just cut the grass between Marie's shop and the Wizard's tower?

There's no grass to cut in that area.

Do you mean the weeds? There are weeds in the southern forest area. They can drop mixed seeds.

also before winter if your silos are full and you still have grass on your farm
empty your silo by just clicking in the coop/barn hay despenser(thingy idk)
then farm all the grass on your farm to get hay
no waste of grass/hay :)
