Could not reset the the Direct3D device

Im getting a D3D9 application box that pops up. It says "Could not reset the Direct3D device". Im running it with Windows 7 64 bit.

Well, this is kinda odd. I had the same problem on Win 10 and solved it by using the WIn 7 compatibility mode. Maybe another comp mode will do the trick for you?

Make sure it's set to run as administrator (go to the install directory and right click MytheonClient.exe). If that doesn't work, play around with compatibility for win 7 32 bit / vista (I'm using win 7 compatibility on win 8.1). If neither of those work, reinstall directx.
