Limbo Game (Rules and info)
Me and modnaR figured that we could start some sort of event if we get enough people.
The game already exist and people play it in other games too, so why not bring it to DSJ?

The "game" is called Limbo. How does Limbo work? I can explain the main rules so more people can participate if you see people already playing it.

First of all, you want to find a session, a three turn segment. Why three? Yes, the first turn is the "launch" turn and the third turn is the "finish line".
The second turn is where the game kicks in. What game? Limbo
Limbo is a game where a bunch of drivers go in a train of cars, drifting a short course. The game is all about that 2nd turn. If you do a mistake in that turn, if you crash, spin out, lose your speed or straighten out, you are "dead", in other words, a stick. The sticks job is to make the path of the remaining drifters more difficult, but not impossible. You position the sticks in a tactical way so the drifters get a tough time passing through.

You start at point A and drive to point C. Then you wait for everyone to arrive at point C and sticks to be ready. Then you start from point C and back to A.

When all drifters turn into sticks, game is over, or if the last man standing does two clean runs by him/herself.

-Sticks are not allowed to move while the wave of drivers are passing through.
--They are allowed to move when the train has passed.
-Dont lie, be honest, if you are out, you are out.
-If you die, try get into the side of the road as soon as possible.
-Tiny walltaps/stick taps are allowed, as long as you can keep the drift steady without a huge course change, speed loss or straightening.
-If you crash before or after the 2nd turn, you are alive.
-If you die by a guy who crashed into a stick, you are still alive.

Extra rules for DSJ due to netcoding.

-If you "die" by a teleporting car, you are still in.
-Suiciders (oncoming traffic) counts as a death (If they make you go into the wall. If you can save it, you are good to go)
-Wait 1 second for the person infront of you before you take off to avoid the teleporting collision.

(I might have missed something, if, tell me!)

I know this can be an issue in online lobbies, but as it looks right now, you cant make LAN servers with a lot of people.

I can make a "Limbo group" on steam if you want to. In that case, add my steam and ask for an invite: http://steamcommunity.com/id/reffor/
