Demo Patch #2

Hello!

I've just updated the Demo to version 0.1.16 with some changes:

Decreased base area of active symbionts Thermobiont insidia and Toxibiont nebula
Slightly incremented the symbiont points necessary to level up passive symbiont Dynamobiont intermissium
Decreased the knockback power of active symbiont Lumibiont protector

Fixes:

inability to switch between controller and mouse/keyboard (if the controller is wireless)
typos

Also, I'm still investigating regarding the bug of the controller not able to reconnect after disconnecting, or not connecting at all if powered on after the game launch. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. I believe it's a bug in Unity's new input system. If you encounter this problem, disable Steam Input; everything works fine without it. I'll continue looking for a solution.

Demo feedback

Great demo. An interesting take on the genre. Few notes / opinions: - AoE weapons feel too strong in early game. That makes 2nd character much superior than 1st one. Much more exp earning in first minutes => faster progression. - HP regen upgrade looks like almost mandatory for surviving in late game (if you don't build something too OP). I suggest to add more healing options or add basic small regen to all characters. - I found appearance of big "+0,2HP" every second during regen too annoying. Maybe ...

Hi!

I've just updated the Demo to version 0.1.9 with some minor fixes, here is the list:

Gamepad not recognized when turned on after game launch.
Problems when switching between gamepad and keyboard
Streamer mode lose connection to Twitch after some minutes of inactivity
Some typo here and there
