YouTube search has less results than before

Lately I've noticed that the YouTube results are only showing the top 8. I use to be able to see a much bigger list but now my searches need to be more specific instead of searching just by artist name. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes - You need to be more specific. I had the same issue yesterday, a vague search brought up the same 8 results as a browser Youtube search did (not logged in). You need to be more specific.

I have the same problems, i search for video and just 6 resaults....that sucks, pls fix it, i need 100 resaults :P And really need a list of all songs what do have a score with more then 5or10 people i like to get higher on the scorebord :)

The result count was decreased to help stay under the game's youtube api quota.

i love this game, it s one of my favorite vr games and thank you to have developped it, and i hope you will continue to support it :)

however, i'm a little disappointed by youtube search now :( we must exactly know what we looking for and we lose the pleasure of discovering (it was the principle quality of this game for me, i love surprises, i like to discover news musics.


we have populars songs but it is limited :(


i think it make it less attractive game . (sorry for my bad english :( )


it will be good if we can search by categorie, if we can add favorites :)

the problem is that many users requesting stuff from youtube from within audioshield is likely to cause a temporry ban from google for the whole game. a workaround is to do your exploring on your desktop youtube (you can do this in vr also) and just use the ingame search to navigate to the video you want.

As the game gains more users the quota will no longer make sense from a business standpoint. Don't expect this integration to last and the developer will likely pull it just like they did with SoundCloud. SoundBoxing is also seeing similar degradation in quality. I had a good time with AudioShield but it's now more annoying to fight with the interface and roll the dice on the youtube search.

The best bet is to let users plugin their own paid accounts like Spotify/Google Music/Amazon music or even YouTube Red. I'm betting the YouTube integration was likely a bandaid to replace SoundCloud and maybe something else is in the works but I don't see this integration lasting long.

To be honest this game was the first VR game I actually loved but after not playing it for a while and then coming back to have a few songs worth of fun I was really unimpressed with the update, I dont know why this update happened im guessing it couldent be helped.
i agree with using peoples own subscriptions though that is a great idea.

Audioshield in offline mode can not be normal operation, how to solve?
