lost my saved data after the patch

Everything i have done is gone just loaded up the game today had'nt played since before patch now its all gone.

It's really strange, have you ran CCleaner or a registry cleanup tool? Maybe a disk cleanup or a windows update?

Can you try to go into the registry editor and then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Black Flag > Yrminsul

Well, it looks like your save has been erased. I'm really sorry I don't think there's a easy way to get it back. If you have a registry backup, a restore point or some tools which allow to recover deleted entries in the registry, maybe you can get it back.

The only way to erase a savegd game is to uninstall the game I don't think it's a bug from Yrminsul, especially on windows 7 on which we have heavily tested Yrminsul (I still have a save from 2012 on my pc).

There could be another issue where the game wasn't saved ever. We can try if it's the case by answering this question:
Have you already and successfully loaded a save ?
If not, you can start a new game and try to save it. Then go into the registry and check if something was written. If not, it might solve things to reinstall Yrminsul.

If reinstalling doesn't fix this then we'll maybe have a conflict with an antivurs or a firewall.
