DDNet 18.8 на Windows 7 no work/не работает!
RUS

ENG !!TRANSLATOR, I'M SORRY FOR THE MISTAKES!!
DDNet 18.8 does not work on Windows 7! Only now everything was working, an error pops up after the update: The entry point to the GetSystemTimePreciseAsFileTime procedure was not found in the DLL KERNEL32.dll . How do I fix it or should I sit on 18.7?

Please upgrade to Windows 10 or 11.
Windows 7 is not supported by Microsoft anymore, so support is not given.

I have no way to reinstall Windows 11 or 10. The specifications do not pull.

Most compilers and libraries tend to drop win7 & win8 support and only support win10+.
We can only provide support for these on best effort basis. If you want your computer to be supported you would need to find out what broke in the update and then send a fix to the https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet repository.

But in the end, you'll have to accept that you might have to update your computer some day if you really cannot update to Win10.
I hope you understand that this isn't directly our choice, if Microsoft stops the support then this is simply a matter of time until supporting these operating systems gets too hard and also opens the door for security problems. Compilers (stdlib) also tend to use more modern APIs of the operating systems to replace slow/broken ones

Can you try if DDNet 18.8.1 works? We think we have identified and fixed the issue: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet/issues/9398
