my friend needs help

so my friend can't play ddrace network i mean like he can run it but he gets frozen and it says connection problems i really love this game but it sorta boring by your self and well i wanna play with him and can't anyone know the fix to the problem if yes please help me and him.

Hey, can you type cl_show_console 1 and F1 console, and then restart, it should open a windows console window.
Inside that there will be some text like:
[2021-03-17 00:47:10][opengl]: Vendor string: AMD
[2021-03-17 00:47:10][opengl]: Version string: 4.6 (Core Profile) Mesa 20.3.4

so [opengl] is important, can you maybe make a screen or copy it here?

i think is the update that happned like not so long ago the day the update happned ddrace stoped working for my friend

Your friend can try downloading older versions from ddnet website: https://ddnet.tw/downloads maybe that helps. if so, please tell us what version is the latest that works fine.
