Check out this other interesting video that shows how a CPU bottleneck can destroy the performance of what should be a better GPU.

Yea the valley is demanding too I remember that one, seems like everyone is hitting the 40's on that as well as the desert during daytime so I guess the system don't matter
hopefully the enhanced version later will fix the performance on both of them
thats at max settings, at 1440p and with ray tracing and dlss on
I'm finding the game looks great with dlss and rtx at 1440p, obvs i cant compare as I dont have a 1080p monitor, but ive taken plenty of screenshots and im blown away by how it looks, im getting 100+ fps on max settings in all the areas so far except the desert so im happy with the performance for now
dont have a 1080p monitor, downscaling from 1440p to 1080p looks really bad and well, i dont think id ever play at 1080p with an rtx 3080 anyway
he has plenty of cores threads for this game, a 3600x is a 6 core, 12 thread and only should be using between 30 - 50% on this game, I am on a 2600x which is also 6 core, 12 thread and thats what mine does, he is not bottlenecked at all
thats a game issue not your card, same happens to me
