Idc if this has been said a million times by now:The spiders are genuinely horrific and should have an option to turn off the screen crawling. I have 0 issue with the big ones But when they scurry on Atryom's arm and this mf doesnt even wipe them off it is unbearable

Bro I started this game for the first time a few minutes ago and got to the part where you burn the spider webs in the broken down tram and thought the spider crawling on my arm was something jumping at me from my peripheral and almost broke my mouse

I will say this:Its gonna get a hell lot worse. What I did was blare a spotify playlist and close my eyes if ♥♥♥♥ was getting to bad. Also might help to have someone else in the room irl with you if possible

Any phobia can be overcome with the right therapy really. Exposure therapy for example. I would recommend doing it with a professional ofc since it involves facing your fears so probably not the smartest to go to your closest pet store and try to handle the tarantulas on your own though.

Im barely arachnophobic, I just hate the fact its something crawling on 'me' and this mf doesnt try to wipe it off like any normal person would seeing an arm sized bug

It is called arachnophobia, and it is very unpleasant feeling for those who suffer from it indeed. Like any phobia it can be cured, but for some it can be very horrible experience and can't be forced. Although I felt a bit of a distaste too, I could stand them in this game, because they are actually scorpions, not spiders, this may ease your mind if you're not scared of scorpions or not disgusted by them, or you don't get goosebumps. The proof for that is that later in the game and in previous games in this series you face big scorpions which grow from those small ones on nets and need to use light on them. I don't know why they have webs, but they are much more similar to scorpions. They don't even have eight legs but six if I recall. Skyrim has much more realistic looking spiders, even giant ones, and that was the same problem for some people back then, if not more.
