Should I buy this?
Never played any of the Metro games before, but now that it's a sale it has caught my eyes since my friend pointed this game out to me. Know nothing about the world or gameplay, only that it's an FPS and that's it. Is it really worth it and do I need to play other Metro games to play this? Would like to hear other opinions. Thank you in advance.

The metro series are story driven games with multiple endings and they use a karma system , right vs wrong. They're first person shooters with an emphasis on stealth and can be brutal if you're careless. Should you get this? Does what I've said sound like you?

To buy or not to buy - It's up to you. I saw people were saying that you can dive in to Metro Exodus without previously playing Metro 2033 and Last Light. Which is slightly true, but you will get characters refer to the past events that you know nothing about. So I will recommend to either play previous games, or watch the videos compiled with story episodes so you could understand what NPCs are telling you in Metro Exodus. Also mind that there is a canonical and alternative endings in each of the past games.

umm check your specs first see my post in discussion thread "Official PC Specs." My system isn't too shabby and game doesn't run, just crashes. Also its roughly 80+ GB download just to install it.

Maybe mention the books too. The games are originally based on a series of books by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. Check your local library, you might get lucky.

I ran it on a 10 year old i5 and a 1050ti. It'll run on almost anything with enough RAM.

The visuals and the setting draw me in definitely. I will check out the other games too.

You should absolutely play the other games first, you miss out on so much if you don't.
