Sound cutting in and out
I reinstalled Metro Exodus to play it again and I noticed the sound keeps on cutting in and out randomly and it's really annoying. I restarted my computer, verified the game files but nothing works. Still have the bug even after turning Dolby Atmos on and off. Any fixes?

Just make sure that the sound device is configured correcly in the Windows Control Panel.

Просто убедитесь, что звуковое устройство корректно настроено в панели управления Windows.

Still don't understand. Also Exodus doesn't even run on the Source engine?

Can you change the hz range on your audio device? Search this forum.

144Hz sounds like your monitor refresh rate OP. R-click the speaker icon in your Notification Area, select Open Sound settings. Find your Sound Control Panel, top right.
Maybe also mention if you're using any additional sound devices,, mixers etc.

Try disabling Dolby in game and Spatial in Windows.

Another question; are your speakers USB? If so, are they wireless?

What sample rate are you trying to use? 44100Hz or 48000Hz?

It's not just a loose wire is it?

Any software in the background that might be using your sound chip?
