Tugboat mission question.

So im playing hardcore ranger and saves are limited and automated (in a super weird way) so im stuck at this mission at plain daylight, i manage to reach half way without being noticed but after that is just impossible for me, i tried for like 4 hours already, i didnt want to kill any guards, i can knock them but killing seems wrong this time around, still, i managed to end the mission by alerting the guards in the last segment, killed 3 and the rest surrendered, but Anna told me i couldnt do it properly (noone got hurt tho) so im asking you ppl if you know a way to finish the mission with stealth but in daylight.

Do better? Knock them out if needed. I got through it in RHC in daylight. There are some sneaky paths around the outside of the boats.

There is a group standing together towards the start that I skipped because I couldn't figure out how to get both without killing. At the end is another group of at least two hanging out together. At that point I had knocked everyone out except the group towards the start and this group. I can't remember if there were two or three in the final group (one is easy but you might have to sprint to a second as he becomes alerted), but if you can knock out all but the last one in this group, the last one along with the group at the start surrendered immediately upon being alerted.

EDIT: Oh you meant taking the tugboat from the merchants I think, not taking the tugboat to the bridge. Well for that one I went in at night and knocked everyone out up until the last few guys, and then I heard someone shooting (it was Idiot) and it messed it all up because the Spartans overlooking the tugboat shot the last three guys and I had nothing to do with it yet took the blame. Maybe I took too long (dawn was breaking) or was sighted without realizing it? Dunno, it was weird.

I managed to get away and sleep until night, still, something alerts the guards each time, and its not me, its pretty much bugged to the point of no return, i hope i can still get the good ending after slaughtering everyone in this boat.

I just did this, I made a mistake and didn't go in at night too. Those guys when you jump the lip of the first barge instantly see you.

There's a little sleeping shack on the barge just before this though that's dark. You just sit in there until it's dark, I went and made dinner while the PC was running. It took forever because I of course got there first thing in the morning.

I feel your pain, i did exactly the same thing, i had some amazing pork tenderloin after failing this mission tho.
