Enhanced edition & DLC
Hi guys,
I just bought the game pack , and steam wants me to install two packages of 73Go the game that comes with the DLC and the enhanced edition . Do I need to install the game twice ? Is there a way to select only the DLCs + enhanced edition to save space?

I have the exact same question. Came here to ask it. My disk space is low. I am only installing the enhanced edition right now. hoping the DLCs work with that.

it looks like it should work. in the properties of ME EE, in the DLC tab, I see both DLCs displayed there

You can download either the enhanced edition or the normal version. DLCs are included in both versions. You need rtx graphics card to run enhanced edition so if you dont have rtx graphics card, download standard version.

It sounds like you're dealing with the Metro Exodus bundle that includes both the base game and its DLCs along with the enhanced edition. Typically, when you purchase such a bundle on platforms like Steam, it will download the entire package, which includes all components.

However, you usually have the option to customize the installation. Here's how you can potentially save space:

1. Check for Selective Installation: Some games offer selective installation, allowing you to choose which components to install. When you start the installation process, Steam might give you the option to select only the DLCs and the enhanced edition while excluding the base game if you already have it installed.

2. Manual Installation: If Steam doesn't offer selective installation, you might be able to manually install only the DLCs and enhanced edition. To do this, you can navigate to your Steam library, find Metro Exodus, right-click on it, and then select "Properties." Within the properties window, there might be an option to manage DLC or additional content. From there, you can choose to install only the DLCs and enhanced edition.

3. Relevant Files: Sometimes, the DLCs and enhanced edition might be bundled together with the base game files. In such cases, even if you choose to install only the additional content, some shared files might still be downloaded to ensure compatibility. This might not save as much space as you hope, but it could still be a considerable reduction.

If you're uncertain about how to proceed or if these options aren't available, you can always reach out to Steam Support for assistance. They might be able to provide more specific guidance tailored to your situation.

I'm sorry but I'm trying to buy this game and IDK to buy the gold edition which include the base game, 2 dlcs, and the enhanced edition; or the saga bundle which includes base game, and expansion pass ( 2 dlcs), (already own the other 2 games). SO the difference seems to be that the gold edition has the enhanced edition listed as its content but the saga bundle has not. What is the enhanced edition and which one should I buy? Only the gold edition does have the enhanced edition?? BTW the gold edition is more expensive.
