edit: No sorry, just saw that I have Last Light complete edition.
That's what got me confused in the last discussion, that there are three and I have the second game.
This helped thank you, once in a while I have these games that somehow get me to mix things up a bit.
Last Light is the best game in the series although 2033 is a fun adventure given that it was their first game on a smaller budget.
First two games, Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, should be either Redux or Complete Editions since those are old games that are buggy. My computer setup could not properly run them without manually editing config files. Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition runs without any issues on my computer.
Metro 2033 has the best atmosphere in my opinion. Metro Last Light was very buggy and it massively retconned your Metro 2033 conclusion.
Metro Exodus is semi-open world game because you still travel between massive areas that you explore. Gun mechanics are much better in Exodus than in previous two games and you can modify your arsenal a lot more to your liking. There are certain areas in Exodus that are absolutely great but some that are mediocre. Exodus also suffers from bloated content and overstays its welcome by a few hours. I still think it is worthwhile purchase, especially now when it should be cheap and with RTX capable cards (30xx series) more prominent.
