Tesselation in Enhanced Edition

So I saw some videos online that said turning off tesselation gives a big fps boost (15), but I am playing this right now at 1440p with ray tracing and ultra settings (didnt choose extreme) but turning off tesselation didnt do much for me. Maybe 5 fps more?

Also sometimes when you play with graphics settings this game says it needs to update them and then you wait for like 1 minute till the loading process is 100% complete and then you get 15 seconds before changes are reverted, is this normal?

ultra settings tbh is the sweet spot for me no tessalation i dont bother with ray tracing as im on a 980ti^^ the game runs perfect for me,it's connected to my moniter via a display port.as for some settings yes it does that on mine too 0-100% so thats normal

AFAIK tessellation settings just extend the range from camera the effect takes place, it doesn't increase the polygonal multiplication.
