Game has been out of development for years now.
DLSS 3 might work, but if you're asking for the new stuff like SR or frame generation, that's unlikely going to happen.
Not saying they couldn't implement it in Exodus (frame gen/ray reconstruction), but it would take some corporate willpower from the publisher to invest in the developer's endeavor to do so on what is likely considered an end of life'd product... and making changes to such a thing can turn into a bit of a bureaucratic hassle.
In the past 4A has received heavy subsidies from nvidia to implement their proprietary tech in the 4A engine, if nvidia ain't paying for the upgrade and neither is DeepSilver (or koch or some embracer group bs now), the developer likely won't push it.
CDPR is a company with both developer and publisher divisions, there isn't much collision between these parts of the industries like there are for other developers. No doubt nvidia gave CDPR a wad to push their tech.
It could be that DeepSilver (et all) doesn't want to cut out consoles and/or that 4A has historically not liked driver level proprietary tech that the engine developers could/should handle instead. I think those are some old timey 4A notions that may have gone by the wayside, who knows if they will allow more AMD tech, but it seems like they cannot stop the tide of nvidia and only the future will tell.
It's somewhat similar to why they don't just "add rtx" to Redux. Enhanced edition has been referred to by some as the "redux" version of exodus, but they clearly each have had different goals in mind for their "enhancements."
I would like if they actually got some funded legacy projects to implement the new tech into Exodus (hell, even Redux), but I think 4A has just moved on to the next iteration(s) of Metro. We'll see how much leeway they're given from these new embracer group shakeups (layoffs).
dlss3 frame gen and dlss3.5 ray reconstruction are obviously not supported.
the only thing you can do is manually swapping out the stoneage dlss2 dll for the current one being 3.5.10.
you can get it here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/
important: 3.5.10 is just dlss2's dll's current version and has nothing to do with dlss3 frame gen or dlss3.5 ray reconstruction.
the dlls all have similar versions to keep the version scheme easy...
dlss2 upscaling: 3.5.10
dlss3 frame gen: 3.5.10
dlss3.5 ray reconstruction: 3.5
...but they are all completely different from each other, are not interchangeable and have different file names.
dlss2 upscaling: nvngx_dlss.dll
dlss3 frame gen: nvngx_dlssg.dll
dlss3.5 ray reconstruction: nvngx_dlssd.dll
the swapping may or may not increase the performance and may or may not increase the picture quality for you when using dlss2.
