DLC worth¿?
Are they worth to buy? What is the new content? new maps, gear or weapons? I search on forums a bit, ppl say they are fun but I want to know as well what kind of content I will have.

They are both the equivalent of extra chapters, not from Artyom's perspective. Two Colonels deals with an aspect that is alluded to in the original story. Sam's Story is a chapter that occurs after the game story ends. Sam's Story is a completely new map and objectives. In my opinion is as good or better than any other chapter in the game.

They are.

Two Colonels as was stated above it covers the final chapter from the base game from Miller`s perspective.

Sam's Story is following the story of Sam on his trek across Russia to the pacific ocean to find a way back home to the US.

I liked Two Colonels as it filled in a blank spot towards the end of the game. Sam's story I ended up uninstalling because he wouldn't stfu ... during conversations being voiced was good, but every freaking time he picked something up they had him make a comment, got real old real fast.

For Sam`s Story I think the drinking cut scene was the high point of that DLC.

Thank you all for the responses, I guess that in terms of gear is the same as the base game, right?

Two Colonels is a linear experience akin to Dead City and Yamantau. It is fast and story-driven, with classic atmosphere of isolation and fear. In terms of weapons the only gimmick is flamethrower which is used in 2/3 of this expansion. It will take around 2 hours to beat. Story is good in regards to direction and vibe, though greatly contradicts the Dead City chapter lore from original game. I would say it is worth it.

Sam's Story is an "open-wordly" experience akin to Volga or Taiga level. There are basically 2 open maps, both really compact and somewhat linear, you don't have to venture far from the plot path to discover all POIs. Weapons are standart, with M911 and incinderary bullets serving as a gimmick. Bullets are OP and trivialize everything btw. Story is cool, locations are really thrilling with actual skyscraper (apartment complex) to explore for the first time in the series. Characters are quite interesting as well. I liked it as well though found it to be a bit stale in the second half. Would probably take you 6-7 hours to complete.

Nice, thank you, I always like something new... I'll add them for future when I end the game :)
Just keep in mind that once you get past a point in certain areas, there is NO back-tracking. Do everything you can in each area while exploring, finding hidden stashes, etc. Also, some fights can be really frustrating when playing on the higher difficulty levels ...this game grants no mercy for mistakes.
