Key rebinding issues for lefties

Right Side Keyboard cfg:
1. I CANT do the radio, at ALL, on the 2nd mission (Intro, 1st mission train, starting second mission have to tune radio). NO key will make the Radio work.It just shows me WASD to use the radio, but none of those keys work. Actually, NO key on the WHOLE keyboard works for the radio, I pressed and Held them ALL.
2. Sometimes it says to do something (like the Radio), and it will show a key, like "Right", but pressing Right anything does nothing at all. Right mouse, right arrow, right shift, right control, numpad 6 (although nothing is bound to it). I have had this happen SEVERAL times through the 1st mission, and I cant do 1/2 the things they tell me to do.
3. When I select an item, sometimes it Automatically throws the item instead of just selecting the item. It always happens when I select a DIFFERENT Item. If I just keep it on the item its currently on, it will not throw it.
4. J (?) key doesnt do anything.
5. Mask does not work right. I cant FIX the mask with it being bound to the Home key.
6. Pageup/down and End dont seem to work when rebound to an action.
7. Enter gets ALL messed up when you try to rebind it to something (I used Heal, it broke everything, had to reset keys to default and start over and NOT rebind that key).
8. SpaceBar gets ALL messed up when you try to rebind it to something (I used Crouch, it broke everything, had to reset keys to default and start over and NOT rebind that key).
9. I cant get the flashlight/keyboard to work. It worked in the tutorial section, but would NOT go to keyboard/flashlight mode in the 1st mission.
10. There are LOTS of other issues with some other keys rebinding, and/or not working, but I cant remember them now that I am out of the game. I will add to this as I see them or remember them.
Also, others are more than happy to post their rebinding issues also.

My keybindings are:
Arrows = right left forward backwards.
right Control = Jump
right Shift = Sprint (hold)
Numpad 0 = Use/Takedown/etc
Numpad 1 = Reload
Numpad 4 = Lighter
Numpad 7 = Flashlight
Numpad 2 = Kill Takedowns/Select throwing items
Delete = Throw Item
End = (I am not sure what End is. I usually assign it to Zoom/Aim, so its probably something like that. Will have to check. It MAY be one of those buttons that you cant reassign because it is hardcoded to something else)
PageDown = (again, will have to look that one up. Not sure it is used or not rebindable)
| \ = Crouch
Home = Gas Mask
Page Up = (again, will have to look that one up. Not sure it is used or not rebindable)

The rest of the game is stock settings for both keyboard and mouse.
Everything I tried to rebind, if it said it was already bound to something else, I didnt rebind it.
So, maybe there is a bug in THAT system of rebinding, of when you click on some key that is hardcoded, and it says that key is already bound (like, for example, Space Bar, or Enter, amongst others), JUST that popup telling us its already bound, even when we DONT rebind it to something else, just that popup seems to be UN-BINDING the key to ??? Nothing? The key is totally unusable after that?

I hope this issue can be fixed.
there should NEVER be hardcoded keys in a pc game, or keys that cant be re-binded to another key, or hidden keys/Actions that that key is also a part of (like, Use is used for what, 3-4 different actions? But, that in itself isnt the problem. Its when you rebind that key with multiple actions, somewhere along the line those OTHER actions get un-linked/broken, maybe because someone hardcoded SOME of those actions to that ONE key, so you get a 1/2 working key only).

If anyone has any 'fixes' for these issues, could you please let me/us/the community know?
I am going to post this as its own thread also, so it doesnt get lost in this sea of bugs.

Almost 2 years later and this was never addressed. I just got to the part where I have to tune the radio, but having rebound numpad 6, there's zero options for me.

Having hidden keys in a game this new is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb. This forces me to use a controller to play the game. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ letdown...

I uninstalled the game long ago w/o ever finishing it. I think I had about 4 real hours played (just a guess, I am not going to get blinded by going to Steams new Console ui), but the game probably says somewhere about 12-14 hours of gaming.
It was easier to uninstall the game and move on to another than to try to play the very messed up exodus (keybindings were not the only issue).

I made an AutoHotkey script, so the arrow keys work as WASD along with some other hardcoded keybinds that weren't possible ingame.

Not ideal, but I've dealt with terrible console ports before.

nah, i just rebind them temporarily back to wasd when needed, a bit annoying but its only required every once in a while for a second

the lethal takedown on heal is a bit more annoying tho

Just don't kill. You don't need to and Lethal often takes slightly longer because Artyom gets a little carried away ie. stabby-stabby.

I like your mettle because injustice is everywhere but like I said, killing takes slightly longer and a micro-second or two can mean the difference between discovery or not.
