Tsar Fish gate closed (possible spoilers)

In the Volga region you need to go to the terminal section in the far east of the map. I can't go into the terminal the front gate is closed, and when i go to the right side of the building, there is no way down without drowning.

So i looked up some guides online and they all say that you need to enter the building by using the boat to enter the front of the building.

Night raids are always more exciting for the horror factor.

One of the NPC even tells you that you should weigh the balance between being active during the day or night as they both have different advantages.

I went during the day but of course had to use a boat. took me about 20 drowning deaths before i went and watched a video on how to.

The idea the fish won't attack you if your peaceful is a lie, that dam fish attacked me every time I used a boat.

In all of those guide video's they use the boat to enter the main entrance of the terminal, which is open. When i get there the gate is closed and can't enter with the boat.

have you tried saving then loading said save?

This game has been very glitchy for me. Sometimes a loaded save fixes it, other times waiting a few days through sleep.

Sometimes I give up and go find another game to play. Mostly battltech.

Have your main story mission actually reached that part yet?

I haven't looked/found anna yet. After i found Krest i went exploring, so do i need to go back to the train first?

Look at your map/mission tablet. It tells you exactly what you need to do first.

Exploring is fun but some areas are locked behind certain sequences.

A boat is needed, there is a dock not far from the bed out front of the terminal.

The gate won't open until you reach that point in tge story and talk to the dude in the railcar.

I have played through once past the volga stage of missions but I am trying to replay to save duke and it will not let me into the terminal the gate is closed and I have completed everything that I could. My first playthrough i had absolutely no issue like this. Not sure what's going on and this is the only othread I have found with a similar issue I have now replayed 6 hrs of gameplay 3 times and its driving me crazy. Any suggestions? Also playing on xbox
