Humananimals at Volga

Can't get past where humanimal attacks at door in Volga mission. Game indicates press Use button but I die in cut scene. Have tried to melee after use button to no effect.

THIS IS COMPLETE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! I'm playing with a decent PC, I can't melee when I get to those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ghouls in the harbor. WTF is going on?

I had the same problem with USE button, when I chaged it to a button on right side. I use right side of the KB. I had to go into user.cfg and set use to default F, togheter with my choose of key.
Same with wasd... i use the arrows and had to put in wasd together with the arrows. Then I could use them both!!!! I'm playing in fam.sharing and havent played the game after the last update.

I had been having the same problem, today I pressed the E key and held it then pressed it lots of times till the humananimal was pushed back, then I shot and killed it. This method worked on other humananimals the same way. I believe this is called spam.

There were reports of players losing key functionalities when they switched the key bindings to others then the default.

Has stated, check your settings to see if in accessibility you have it in press, hold or spam.

If that doesnt work, reset your key bindings to see if that does the trick.

Could explain the problems, I always use default key bindings.

Thank you Derrame......after dying about 30 times trying everything and being quite frustrated, found you post. Went to accessibility and changed it from hold down to tap and it worked like a charm. Would never have thought to look there if it hadn't been for your post. Thanks again.
