*SPOILERS* Need help at Caspian Desert

Was just completed the mission at the lighthouse, i exited to the outside of the underground communications center and went straight down the road until i found a safe area directly nearby. Slept to night, and woke up to find that Saul and his goons were watching me sleeping. After his speech about his plans to foil the Baron, i tried interacting with him and even his 4 goons - but sadly to no avail. I tried going down the ladder onto the road to start exploring around again, but Saul reacted as "Hey! Leaving already?" and "Where are you going?". Any help pointing out what i may have missing here?

i think thats the way its supposed to play out, havent finished the caspian desert part yet but im guessin something happens at the end

So what should i do now?should i just leave the place?they wont start a shooting at me if i leave?

Yeah, i tried leaving the place, and all they did was reacting by readying their weapons but not shooting, and that's it. What i really did though was that i went to sleep again, and they disappeared when i woke up, then i started exploring again.

As far as I'm aware he plays a part in getting the better ending for Caspian. If you free the slaves in the boat and make sure to not harm any throughout the level then Damir will stay with the crew. I haven't gotten the ending where he stays in Caspian to test this but I'm fairly certain Saul allows you to keep Damir with the Aurora. Hope this helps, again, not 100% sure.

spoilers ahead for caspian desert part.I didnt complete caspian desert yet,but wen i was simply exploring ,i saw a cave and wen i went there ,Baron was sitting near the cave(i did this before the mission where artyom and damir brings water)...so,this baron was talking to himself that saul use doppleganger baron etc etc...So this real Baron is a good guy and saul is behind all the bad stuff in the name of baron.Atleast thats wat it seems to me till now.

You can go back and talk to him right before you take down the baron's hideout. He seemed to still be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like the other Baron, I may have shot this real Baron and nothing happened... so I'm not really sure. I just do good stuff where I can and it gives the good ending of the level. Oh well.

Thanks, but this wasn't what i asked. What i meant is that after i knocked out Saul on the antenna building near the train, i went and did the lighthouse mission, and after i was done with it, i went to a rest spot near the lighthouse and slept to night. When i woke up, he and his crew were looking at me sleeping, and he made a deal with me to take out the Baron for him in exchange for his van (the one that we're currently using to drive around in the desert) and "a gun" (when i looked around the position he was standing, i only saw a Revolver near a candle sitting on a smashed cabinet, so i guess that's it). Following this, i was under the impression that i need to interact with him to accept his offer, however, after he made his speech, there is no button prompt to do it whatsoever, and when i tried to leave the rest spot to continue exploring, he reacted angrily and the whole crew readied their weapons (but they didn't shoot me). Then i tried going to sleep again and he said that we'll talk again later then the next time i woke up, he disappeared.
