Stuck looking at map

I am playing on PC, on the train looking at the map and can't move. Anybody else having this problem?

I am. It began with the radio, a minute before. Don't know what key worked, tried everything. But now I can't get off the map. Annoying.

I had the same problem, the way I got around it was to plug an xbox controller into my pc. Same for the radio.

Okay, found a solution that worked for me anyway. I'd remapped my movement keys to the arrows because I'm left handed. I set them back to WASD and I was able to chose between the ext and the map by pressing A or D. Now I just have to reset the d__n keys every time . . .

You can set moving to both WASD and the arrow keys. I have it set like that because I use the right side of the keyboard.

How? I haven't seen any way to have multiple keys for the same function, but I'd sure like to.

You have to do it in the "user.cfg" file and set it to read only. Do your prefered settings for other options, audio, video, controls and so on. Quit game and open user.cfg in word pad.
Default "Forward, Left, Right and Back" is WADS. For me when I have tweeked it - Looks like -

bind forward kUP
bind forward kW
bind lstrafe kLEFT
bind lstrafe kA
bind rstrafe kRIGHT
bind rstrafe kD
bind back kDOWN
bind back kS

Save file and set it to read only...

Sounds good, but I don't see the user.cfg file when I open the Metro Exodus folder?

I'm playing on PS5, so maybe this isn't applicable to the Steam version, but I had this issue, and the solution was to hold down the button instead of just tapping it. Idk if this helps anyone else, but I thought I'd mention that.
