huh? What is epic store? Is this boxed only like old school? I don't see it at Gamestop on PC either?

Apparently you've been living under a rock. Exodus was taken off steam 2 weeks before release, won't be back on steam till next year. You have to buy it from the epic store.

it's a way to force you to buy it through the epic store, download the epic launcher (yet another one) and trust epic games with your personal info.

Or just not buy it and wait till it no longer is only available due to a desire to force more customers to a particular vendor.

I just decided no, and will keep playing other games. Also it apparently is a bug fest, so they are doing me a favor.

Also...some of you might want to keep in mind not everyone gets up in the morning to study the latest gaming news and releases....some of us do work jobs, and have other things going on that don't involve franticly counting the seconds for the next release.

Get over it, some of us didn't even know it was out since we didn't get any notice from steam that it was available...since it wasn't....sigh

Notice: Sales of Metro Exodus have been discontinued on Steam due to a publisher decision to make the game exclusive to another PC store.

The developer and publisher have assured us that all prior sales of the game on Steam will be fulfilled on Steam, and Steam owners will be able to access the game and any future updates or DLC through Steam.

We think the decision to remove the game is unfair to Steam customers, especially after a long pre-sale period. We apologize to Steam customers that were expecting it to be available for sale through the February 15th release date, but we were only recently informed of the decision and given limited time to let everyone know.

Just read the notice steam has on their store page? Problem solved

Wow...this is very odd news. I have Origin for a few other games...didn't realize that Epic had a platform now too.

Can I link the game to my Steam account or somehow add it to my library?

Okay thanks. I'll have to try that...not sure I trust giving money to this platform. Hopefully can pay through Paypal. They made Gears of War and Bulletstorm if I remember right?

Such is life and after all its just a game is a sea of games just like it.

I hope for the sake of those counting down the year, we dont see it come here pulling the ubisoft trick but with the epic launcher in toe behind steams.
