So if I have no folder named Metro Exodus here or in the 4A games folder, nor any saves in the AppData directory, where are they?

C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Saved Games\metro exodus\STRING OF NUMBERS

Doh. I was doing that path, only the Saved games folder under documents (so c\users\un\docs\saved games). Whoops.

Because the previous two games saved there, and several other games saved to the "Saved Games" folder under docs.

So I have this folder location and my save game files from when I "tried before i buy" ( ) back when Metro.E wasnt on Steam. Is there anyway I can get that save file to work with Steam or am I doomed to start fresh? Love the game hence why I bought the first 2 back in the day along with the redux version and now Exodus since it finally came to steam. But I found the beginning a bit boring and tedious.

hI, I don't know what the f... happened. but I don't have ANY of my progress.. damned. Despite I made a copy with game save manager, no matter where do I put the result of that copy...the game doesn't seem to work with my saves, just from the BEGGINING. i have seem in reddit a guy that uploaded all the chapters with all the improvements too, but .. I just wanted to continue MY game, no other's game. If I can't find solve this i will try that . In my windows it appears as "juegos guardados" that folder, but if I try to create "saved games" windows warns me that there is a folder with the same name and I can "fusionate"? both... but i prefer not to do it, just in case I erase or corrput the rest of saves. pfffffff

WARNING! DO NOT use the save files in your C:\Users\USERNAMEi\Saved Games\metro exodus as a backup! WARNING! I tried doing a backup, then re-playing a chapter for an easy achievement, and then replace that save with my backup (because on my original i had collected all collectables and did all the karma stuff and i wanted that saved but i couldn't go back for an achievement so i had to replay the chapter, but when i replaced the save file with my original backup, the game STILL somehow had accesss to the old save file which i deleted, and all my previous progress was deleted. So do NOT use the backup files to jump between your own characters progress because it will only remember the most recent one, no matter what you do. 15 hours of work completely down the drain, thank you so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
