What exactly is that. Pops up from time to time and says 000776 right now. Probably obvious but i havent seen anything related to that number

As others have mentioned, it's the distance in kilometers that you (or rather, the Aurora) has traveled. As to why it pops up periodically, I think it's the game's way of letting you know that it just did a checkpoint save.

its funny i happened to pause the game and realized it says 000776km on the top of the pause menu. Didnt notice that lol
