Can't use the car in Caspian.
I've just been to the building at the start of the Caspian level with the radio tower. I was being chased by a ton of humanimals so I just didn't even consider I could use the car and legged it back to the train...

When I got back they're like "I heard you got a car! Nice!" I went back to see if I could use it but 'E' doesn't seem to do anything. Was there a key I was meant to find or anything?

On the roof of that building there was a person who had the key on him that you could either kill or knock out and then grab the key to the van.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...
Well I knocked him out and ran... Now he's gone... guess I might be a bit screwed lol

You get a key from the Bandit chief in the Building. ALWAYS LOOT EVERYTHING ON EVERYTHING.

Yeah but it seems like a bit of an over site on the devs part. I mean I stripped his gun for parts but not him apparently but the monsters startled me so I legged it. Health doesn't grown on trees, and I was out of ammo

Have you been able to use the car at all later? I got back to the Aurora before having even found the car or being near the building and got the "got yourself a car" message. When i later found the car the building was devoid of any enemies. Cant find a key anywhere either.

EDIT: I got to use it after the lighthouse mission, all good.

Cool, I reloaded. Turns out you grab the key in a cutscene so I don't know why I couldn't get in before. Worked out after tho.

Yea I explored the hole right side of the map then went there and had the same thing no enemies and looked for what should have happened and see there should be a guy that has the key that jumps down from the roof so I tried looking on the roof and I found static an axe & the key but I cant get on top to see if I can pick it up :(

This part just bugged out for me.

I was getting near that building because it was a marker on the map. However just as I was getting close-ish, there was a radio call which said the train was being attacked. I ran back, and found no attack. When I got there, they had set up camp in the building next to the train.

Anyway I set off back to the building where the car was. Can't use the car. No enemies at all in the building, where you defeat an enemy to get the car keys. No Shambler of course either now.

I tried quitting Exodus to reload, but that didn't fix it. I am not sure if I can restart the level, but not sure if I want to, because it might happen again.

Had you already used the car? This sounds like a part later in the game, but I could be wrong :P

Sadly the only fix I found was restarting the chapter, which sucks. Figure they would have fixed it by now.

After the lighthouse mission, an NPC brings the car over.

I also went back to the place where you're supposed to get the car key and Shambler. There were now enemies back there. I killed all but the last one because he surrendered, and they were all on the ground level. There was no enemy on the roof, that would have been the one who gave keys and Shambler. There was however a Shambler just lying on the floor up there.

I hope it means that effectively the enemy on the roof survived, because apparently he is relevant later.
