Unkillable enemies
the enemies in the first open zone were fine, but once i got into the Desert zone enemies cannot be killed with my guns i am on normal, both humans and ghouls take a lot to take down, stealth or not, headshot or not, i'm not sure what went or is going wrong but no matter what i do i cannot deal damage to them it seems, and often their ai freaks out no longer seeing me as an enemy and not reacting to where i am.

has or is anyone else experiencing this? i've validated, restarted my game and it didnt do anything same for rebooting the computer (just ot be safe) i even started the game is safe mode (which it prompts me if i wish to do every time i launch the game for some reason) and it still persists

Edit(same as comment below): so i found a maybe solution and i found out what is happening somewhat

so i realised guns weren't shooting projectiles (the yellow lasers) and most enemies were doing the same, save a few of them. so that's why enemies are unkillable, no damage is being registered, and only a few things, like throwing knifes worked because it is a forced projectile

starting the chapter from the beginning fixed this for me

Generally speaking, if you deliver a headshot while zoomed in through the weapon's scope, it is MUCH more effective than if you are hip-firing. Like, usually ONE round to the head looking through the scope will kill. Outside of the scope, figure _at least_ four shots.

Also, the revolver hits harder than the assault rifle which hits harder than the airgun.

The problem with taking shots while looking through the scope is that it is real easy to get swamped up close and personal as you never see the attackers that come at you from the sides while looking through the scope. So, pop in, take the head shot, pop out. Make a habit of it.
