Walking, Running, Sprinting speeds seem off

Compared to the walking, running, and sprinting speeds of past Metro titles, Metro Exodus feels like the running speed is really slow. I've tried configuring the controls but Toggle Running doesn't do any thing.

By contrast, sprinting speed seems normal, but the difference in movement between sprinting and running seems way off. Is there an option to make running faster or am I not actually enabling running in the settings? I am at a loss on how to fix this issue.

On the contrary, I think walking is too slow, but the jogging is to fast to carefully navigate buildings. I'd like to see the walk speed x1.5 or x2 and leave it slow when aiming down sights for a more cautious corner turn.

The toggle run doesn't work for me either and I wish they would fix that so I don't have to hold down the button to walk slow.
