Its preorder bonus :)
The constant scratching sure is annoying, but at least I can play without crashing now. :)
For me I restarted the game and voila, creeping sounds gone.
I fixed it.
You have to run into mutant, and get struggle animation. It will cover the sound of spider.
Running to next cobweb and triggering this spider-thing helps too.
EDIT: when you go to crafting you can still see that spider on arm :3
Seemed like it came from behind me (but I'd just checked my six before shooting, and seen nothing), as I could see parts of it sticking into the screen from the wrong direction. Now, ever since successfully winning that QTE, the watchman corpse has been floating above me and to my left. Hard to describe, but I see its hairy ass covering the left of my screen when I'm not moving. It goes away if I crouch or move. Also, when I see my shadow I can a shadow of the damn floating above me, tail down.
The screen covering is annoying enough, but I think it may be affecting the environment, too. I've had windows break when I walked near them, for instance. But the worst is that I'm not able to use boats in The Volga since this has happened. As soon as I start to paddle, the boat goes underwater. I can still move, but can't see where I'm going. If exit the boat, I'm left standing on a capsized boat that I then fall off of. I suppose this could be some other bug, but I had no problems with anything before this happened.
As stated by others, no reloads or restarts of the game get rid of it. The one thing I've not tried is to do a chapter select. I'm hoping to get to the next chapter, quit to the main menu, and then chapter select back to the new chapter - doing a chapter select produces a warning that the save file will be overwritten, so I'm hoping that fixes it. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I really don't want to replay the parts of this chapter I've already done and so I'm trying to stick it out. But if there is no way to fix this, I may as well start a new game now.
Thanks
