Metro franchise - Where to start?
Can I play Metro Exodus without having finished the previous games?

You can play them in whatever order you like. Last Light assumed the ending of 2033 where you destroy the botanical gardens even though you can stop it if you get enough good moral points throughout 2033.

I'd certainly play them in order if you haven't played them before. (2033 > Last Light > Exodus)

Because 2033 and last light both had a redux done not so long ago, the graphics still look fresh for them two games.

But do what you must OP..

Yes, but you will not understand all + you'll miss some references + start with the last episode... but is possible if you want ! ;)

2033 (book & / or game) -> Last Light > 2035 (book) -> Exodus
