you have pre-ordered a Metro Exodus EU Steam CD Key from one of our merchants on Kinguin.
We regret to inform you that Deep Silver, the game's official publisher, has decided to distribute the game exclusively via Epic Store and remove it from Steam. As of January 29. it will be no longer possible to purchase/preorder the game on Steam.
Given that our method of delivery depended exclusively on product activation keys, our merchants will not be able o provide you with a Steam CD key. The publisher has decided to honor only the pre-orders that were made directly via the Steam Store.
Luckily, the merchant which you have selected has informed us that he will be able to deliver an Epic Store CD keys and therefore, we would like to offer you delivery of a key for the said platform in place of Steam CD key.
Since this has been the publisher's decision, it was beyond our control. However, we would like to compensate you for this negative experience.
First, thats what you get for buying it on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Second, it would be Epic key anyway.
That should be illegal.
If you felt you were mislead you have a case. Complain and get your money back or activate the game through Epic Store. Personally I would not support Epic Store. They are going about competition the wrong way in my opinion.
i know i dont agree with the play epic store and bethesda for that matter play.
but its not really the key stores fault they are on the short end of this just like steam. also i got a free game and discount from the key site so props to them for resolving an issue i dont even bother that much about.
Yeah I agree. Deep Silver and Epic really hurt those key sellers.
the one who should be afraid of lawsuits is Deep Silver
So much 'holier-than-thou' floats around these forums at times.
