and my 2080ti/8700k diserve this RTX sweetness so DX11 isn't an option...
Very disapointed because it's been 1 year, there are still major bug, gamma, corrupted saves, low rez cloud, texture popin...
I give up...
If you want to buy the game for Dx12 , I would say don't. DX11 works fine for me though, and the game itself is marvelous to play.
Need DX12 for raytraced illumination though, which looks much better than the standard GI so using DX11 not an option

Not sure of a fix, but it seems to be related to some kinda haze from the environment. Going from inside to outside or weather changes like sandstorm or fog are the typical times I see it.
I hope Vulkan RTX comes to windows so hopefully it will be easier to implement better than the current DX12 built.
Yes, exactly this kind of thing...
In fact DX11 has it also, but you can change gamma value in the setting.ini, the problem is with DX12 changing the value does NOTHING
The worst is the bug where I make Sam sit, and suddenly colors become... normal... what is this kind of bug?
Hope for a patch soon, at least with DX12 give us a command in the settings.ini to change gamma value, because it works wonders for DX11 but with DX12 you can change the value all u want, it does nothing...
One room is grayed out, if I step out the room you can notice it suddenly turns into this green-ish washed up hue/filter and stepping back in makes it have a grayish filter over it.
The problem is that for DX12, changing the gamma value in the settings.ini does nothing...
If we had the same thing as DX11, problem would be solved already
Thanks for your response, but what code do I change to 1.5?
I just changed gamma to it and checked the game, it's still the same..
+1, happens here too.
Go to the configuration file location.
Open user.cfg
Set r_gamma to 1.5.
Save file and exit.
