Report a translation problem
You need to exit the game, turn up/down your volume, then launch the game again, rinse/repeat until you get it where you want it, and remember to set it to whatever it is EVERY time you play the game.
Maybe try windowed mode and see if it works.
I never got mine to work while in-game.

exodus is the only one with this problem.
I think its because they take exclusive control of the full-screen and window mode in exodus, and they didnt in the previous games.
Incorrect, alt-tab out the game and adjust the volume.
Hopefully they'll fix it soon... I've just got my game set to windows mode as I have more than 1 monitor and I do other tasks on my other monitors whilst playing the game.
I DONT have 2 monitors, and I have had this game for a year.
Alt-Tabbing just crashes the game.
Go windows mode then mate, shouldn't crash though.
Never crashed on me when I had the game in full screen mode when alt-tabbing...
