It's a Nvidia SDK demo

If this is like other games, you will see no performance difference on Nvidia cards. On AMD cards, some of it will be offloaded to the CPU, so you will see a franmerate dip if your CPU is ass.
You can try turning it off, but I doubt it will matter on your card. You should turn it from Ulta down to High; the difference is minor and the frame gain is tremendous.
This game does NOT use Physx 5.0, I think it is a version ot 3.x on Exodus.
Uhm... You absolutely see a performance difference on nVidia cards lol. Even with an nVidia gpu most of the physics is offloaded to the cpu.
How can that be?? I think your graphics card is either thermal throttleing or bad settings.
I have an i5 4690k @4.2Ghz and when I OC my 1080Ti I can easily play at 4k on Ultra 60fps no problem. At 1080p on extrem I get around 100-120fps, when Stock. When I cap it at 60fps with VSync The graphics card even stops turbo boosting and it runs on 1000-1300Mhz. Something is wrong with your card. If this is still relevant and you need any help ask away. :)
LOL i call bs
A 1080 Ti can't play Exodus at 120 fps on Extreme at neither 4K or 1080p.
Neither can that i5 Haswell CPU hold 120 fps, not even in DX12, lol.
yes it does. I said 100-120fps it depended on the environment. In the metro I got up to 180 fps. desert sometimes 80-90 when I playtested it. I had it OC to 2.2Ghz tho. But the card is old and tired now it won't push past 2Ghz anymore. 4k was 60 stable (almost all the time) when I playtested it. mostly played on 1080p tho. 60fps lock. Also don't remember what game settings I used but it was almost the best. I think hairworks was off. With hairworks on I got a instant drop on 30-40fps. The i5 was a beast btw. Sadly not anymore.
