the Gold Edition include the Expansion Pass, that make us having both of the Two Colonels and Sam's Story DLC.
the difference is that you'll pay 38€98 for the Gold Edition that include the Expansion Pass, instead of paying 42€73 if you buy the Expansion Pass separatly so it's 3€75 of spared if you buy the Gold Edition, meanwhile you'll be about to waste 4€04 if you decide to buy the DLC's (Two Colonel and Sam's Story) instead of the Expansion Pass.
so, for short... the Gold Edition is what you need to buy if you want to pay less ^^
