Map Screen -- WASD hint shows, but can do nothing

Got to the map screen the first time on Aurora, hit the key to enter map mode and then I'm stuck staring at the map. Nothing else to do at all. I have literally hit every key on the key board.

In the bottom left a WASD icon shows, but those keys do nothing. I cannot even get out of the map screen without exiting to the main menu and it start again.

I googled to no avail, just someone in the same situation. No option bind map keys either.

I'm using NUM2-4-6-8 as always for movement (being a lefty mouse user) and it's been fine. Took some odd rebinding to get the radio to even work.

Any ideas?

Figured it out... have to make sure WASD is still mapped to something. Surprised this bug has not been addressed.

Oh yes, the bugs have been reported, but they havent fixed keymapping.
Having your keys remapped will eventually get you stuck in a situation where you cant do a lot of things. Then, you will HAVE to make the keys Default to continue.
Have fun with a console game that they wont make into a decent pc ported game.

today, that bug..... WASD icon is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ BUG...... i am using arrow keys for movement the characters, but because of that.... everytime there is a WASD icon..... sometimes it does not move, sometimes it can move it with WASD icon..... WTF is this ♥♥♥♥ BUG ???

everytime i am asking on this forum......... no one cant answer how to fix that ♥♥♥♥ BUG .........

Its because the devs never fixed any keybinding issues, except I think one.
Most keys are hard coded (you cant change them because you cant see them), and a lot of keys are strung together, and if you change the 1st key (the other strung together keys are also hardcoded and you cant see them) then it breaks the chain of keys and it wont work.
If you are dead set on playing with Arrow keys, use that mod called AutoHotKey.
Its the only way to make it work.
