Still on version 1.0.0.0?
I'm still on version 1.0.0.0. What i can see in the forums, there is a 1.0.0.2 version out there where all the day one glitches were fixed. I'm still getting a lot of glitches were the game chrashes randomly, and the fps drops for 2 seconds and then gets normal again.
Anyone knows how to get version 1.0.0.2, or is it only the epic launcher who has it?

ive bought hundreds of games from that website. That has nothing to do with the game not updating. Its completely legal and the prices are not too far off from steams prices these days. I have no idea why steam would censor that word in chat.

if there were any claims or proof that G2A operated using "stolen credit cards" as people like to claim then paypal would not have any association with that website.

All of us that bought Metro Exodus Steam keys from them are stuck in a similar situation. The keys probably weren't meant to be sold. The game downloads everything minus the .dll and .exe files and cannot be updated through Steam. We won't have access to downloadable content either.

The only option is to get the missing files from somebody else, and the ones that are most widely distributed are the 1.0.0.0 files.

Unstable OC can cause the crashes and for the 2 second fps drops: disable Hairworks.

That was what i was afraid off... guess i'll have to buy the game again in one year to get all the new updates then..

Try verify catch.
Doesn't work. Has nothing to do with this issue.

So everyone on Steam copy is stuck on version 1.0.0.0?

Nope. The people that managed to buy the game legitimately from Steam when the pre-orders were live have a proper working game. Only people buying Steam keys from G--2--A have this problem.

That's very odd, and I don't think they should've been excluding people from getting the updates despite where the key was bought from, because they're the ones that sold/hand out the keys to those that went to resell them.

Personally I don't think the sellers should be selling broken keys for a broken copy of the game but despite both G--2--A and the sellers being informed, they're still selling the keys. Tech support for Koch Media is extremely slow to respond. Deep Silver support haven't responded at all.

Here's our thread on the matter. PREDATOR explains the technical side of the problem on Page 3.

I am on 1.0.0.0 as well, the only 2 problems I had was

1. some of the on screen controls being locked to WASD when I use arrow keys, I fixed this by manually editing the user config file with 2 sets of movement controls

2. dark nights have a bad grey like film on them when outside, I have heard of players using geforce experience to fix it but I refuse to install that.

besides that 1.0.0.0 works great for me

So have I but I'm pretty sure that this does have something to do with that because of the epic games store exclusive thing.
