Enhanced has the better lighting, looks prettier and probably more stable.

I had some issues with the standard version early on, mostly due to not so stable overclocks and display dirvers, but still managed to get 600+ hours so can't have been that bad.

If you have an RTX card I say go with enhanced and use DLSS in quality mode.

The enhanced edition looks much brighter, some say that original captures better atmosphere.. I am really confused, what should I play.. I have 3080 GPU and beast PC so hardware is not main concern. I looked some youtube videos and Enhanced edition, (although prettier and with much better reflections), simply looks too bright to me.
Now I am stuck for days trying to decide...

Enhanced definitely, use the in-game Gamma setting tone down the brightness.

The original's RTGI had only one lighting bounce while EE has infinite light bounces so it's much more physically realistic.

You can use the deependark mode if needed: https://twitter.com/metrovideogame/status/1395693514705473537

I still think the original hand made lightning is still superior and more athmospheric than with rt..
