what is the default key for getting out of reading map or smoking cig. I keep getting stuck there and end up just leaving the game. I see the key symbols - some key and the arrow keys. I have changed some of the keys for my playing style and may have changed the default function. Any help would be appreciated - thanks

ASWD are used for in game selections like disembarking using the map, using the radio, or smoking a cig.

Thanks for the replies - I changed ASWD to the arrow keys as I use mouse left handed. This combination works great in all games I have played. That being said I have tried the aswd keys over and over again to no avail. I tried the arrow keys also - been like a woodpecker on the keyboard trying everything. I will go back and try A but I am sure I have already. Sorry for sounding like a noob but I have used this combo. in every game I own with no issues.

Same here, I'm a lefty but I use IJKL to move, and I'm basically stuck everytime this happens. The only thing to do instead of leaving the game is going back to the keybinds, set the movement keys back to WASD, and then when you're out of the map/smoking cig etc, you can set your keybinds back to the arrows.

I'm right handed but play left handed too, long story.

Thanks peek, sounds like a pia to constantly have to do that. The arrow keys are nice because they are separate from the rest of the keys - then I have the weapon buttons on the six keys directly above the arrow keys.
