Better than Epic Games version?

Epic games version takes minutes to load, often crashing. Is there a difference between it and the steam version?

what exactly? launching the game itself? The chapters don't all load quickly, this is a feature of the game

its the same version only difference is one launches through epic the other through steam

I have both versions and they are exactly the same with the same issues.

Alright good to know. My issues come from trying to launch the game and it crashing before I get to the main menu. On the rare chance that it does get there, it loads incredibly slowly, and my CPU usage gets turned all the way up unlike any other games I've played.

Have you updated your drivers? That's a problem i had in the beginning, but when they were updated the game ran fine till the end.

I always make sure to update my drivers, but I do have and AMD card. Hopefully that's not a major issue
