Knocking out surrendered enemies

Is this ok, or should I stop doing this if I want them moral points?

KO'ing people is OK. The secret is 'not being caught'. The games moral system relies on you following 'Artyoms' belief system. That means don't kill unless it's unavoidable.

Yup, same here. Call it mutual respect/honor/whatever. You dont kill prisoners of war, and knocking them out in this game seems to render them basically dead so...yeah.

As far as I can tell, they do go back to being hostile if you wander too far away from them. I was clearing out the train depot and one guy in the very back of the depot surrendered. I went outside and checked out all the train cars, and when I got back inside to raise the gate, the guy had turned hostile again.
